Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, besides fall. Every year, I make a hot cocoa bar for my family and get a lot of compliments on it.
This year, I decided to make a Hot Cocoa Board to sell for the holidays. It comes with hot cocoa packets, candy cane sticks, sprinkles, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, M&Ms, assorted cookies, chocolates, and a large custom cookie!
I made boards in the past with bamboo trays, but in the effort to maximize profit and make sure they were constantly in stock, I found this great eco-friendly palm platter as an alternative. These are sturdy enough for what I'm making, take up way less space, and are disposable.
I was hoping they would fit in my half sheet cake boxes that I already had, but I ended up getting a larger "donut box" instead. So I would say that the downside was that I saved space on the boards, but had to purchase a new set of boxes to go with them.
However, the platters and the boxes still take up less space! So I guess I really can't complain.
They have different sized platters to suit your needs, so if you are into charcuterie, this may be for you as well!
